Conferencing with a Difference
Sara Lee Cassidy Director of The Flowgrow Experience offers ‘Conferencing with a difference’ at Killaloe Hotel & Spa on your request. See below what this package includes and contact us for more information.
Our conferencing with a difference package offers bite size self care practices to ease the harsh ergonomics of office or home office environments, which can affect posture and bone structure long term.
We offer life/work assessments which observe the impact of our work habits on our bodies and minds. Using a three tiered approach to the body and mind we target overwhelm, stress, bad posture, sluggishness and lack of creativity. Our packages enhance clarity, focus, drive, team building and positive working relationships in the workplace.
The days starts with gentle mobility exercises and breathwork. We then take a ‘Happiness Assessment Portfolio’. Specifically looking at body, mind and relationships.Assessing the worklife impact on the client.
Offering a ‘bite size’, easy to use self care routine to counter the adverse affects of stress in the workplace.
Fascilitating a Simple Chi Gong/Tai Chi ‘Bite-size’ package to calm and centre the mind
Right brain, left brain kinesthetic exercises that encourage a healthy balance and communication between left and right brain activity.
Breath Work for coping with overwhelm, anxiety or pre interview jitters
Consciousness Work. How to tackle a problem creatively and assess ones life resources. (Using positive psychology in the work place)
Fun tackle. A mixture of body awareness games that are fun and enhance our nervous system, encouraging neuro- regeneration.
The power of reflection. A study was conducted at University College London which conducted research on 502 people as part of a life long study. A comparative study comparing childhood cognition to the same group of adults at 70 years and over. It was found that those who had engaged with more creative problem solving capacities, those who engaged with personal and professional development had higher recall and cognition capability to those with just manual jobs.
This would indicate that problem solving and self reflection activities enhance brain power and function.
We end our day with fun exercises and experiences in reflection and dialogue. These activities encourage team building, trust, confidence and cohesion within teams.
